B-Bop's is a Des Moines tradition! 50's style burger joint. Flame broiled burgers, good fries, thick chocolate shakes. While McDonald's, BK and Wendy's keep serving the same old tired, chemical-laden slop B-Bop's is reigning superior in every single way. Excellent tasting burgers, fresh veggie toppings, good fries, excellent chicken nuggets... man, this place is too good. If I had to give up all fast food for the rest of my life, my first thought would be "god fucking damnit, I can't have a B-Bop's double cheese ever again??!" If you want a good, quick burger that ISN'T run of the mill, go B-Bop's.

Good food always happy with this place as a regular at the local spot. Drive up and outside seating only but for price its worth it. At this location sat & sun can get single burger for 1.09 each is a good deal as 2 and a drink fits the bill with a full belly

Stopped at B-Bop's to grab a quick bite on my way through town. I made a good move by picking this instead of McDonald's or Burger King. The burger was freshly grilled and the cheese was actually melted, unlike the cheese on the mushy brown salt patties that are served up by the big chain fast food joints. Fries were also fantastic.

Best fast food burger in town, by far. Cooked on a grill, they make their burgers to order. They're always really nice at the window and don't mess up your order like the big chains do. I wish there were more options for sides besides fries because their fries aren't great. They are edible only with their nacho cheese sauce. They have great chocolate shakes as well!

Let me first say I have been to various B-Bops in Iowa and eaten almost every item from their menu. This location is no different than their other locations, food made fresh and delicious. Their staff is always friendly here and the wait is not long. For those who do not know what B-Bops is, it is a classic made and tasting burger. It is higher quality than a fast food burger, but not necessarily a gourmet restaurant burger. I have tried their standard burgers and also Chicken, fish, and pork ones. I have also eaten their nuggets and chili which is all amazing. Price is higher than fast food burger joints, but worth the price, only a buck or so more..

I really miss B-Bops in Cedar Rapids. Hey I did my part to support them. This is a great local fast food burger joint. Most locations like this one at Eastgate are drive-thru only. They char-broil the burgers and serve fresh, not microwaved (are you listening Burger King?). Cheap and delicious.
